Need some opinions.

Hey guys,
id like to start off with saying this.
I AM a ricer at heart. i know this.. i dont need anyone telling me that i am haha its well known..i just want some opinions.. gunna go something like this BLUE... PURPLE...OR LEAVE THEM ALONE alright.. with that out of the way


I have a 92 nissan 180sx, its blue.. the theme of the car is blue and purple..
the purple is hks purple.. in the engine bay right now is a purple hks oil cap ( vc is getting painted the same color as my car for the blue/purple contrast)

Mines Maf adapter for my apexi filter ( with the coupler on you can barely even notice the purple.. but im not a HUGE ricer.. i just like suttle rice :D )

once i do the valve cover blue.. im almost certain thats as far as ill go for rice in the engine bay..

so heres my question.. (the lugs are for this car my 92' 180sx)

and again thats how far i wanted to go with the rice..
wanted the lug nuts to tie in with the hks and what not in the engine bay..

ohh and not that it matters (unless some of you are real picky) i also have origin cf roof spoiler and cf b pillars for exterior rice :D again i did the cf roof spoiler.. and had to do the cf b pillars to tie the two together.



OR maybe you have your own option for me? lmk thanks

I would say blue since its the exterior of the car.

so purple in the engine bay, blue on the outside.....

If the car is blue and you want to go blue/purple for the color scheme use blue as your main color and go with purple accents (like how you want a blue valve cover, but have random purple couplers, things like that), but don't overdo it.

That said, if the car is blue, i would probably go purple for the nuts as well. See if you can find purple air valves too.

PS - you need to lower your car.

purple.... but only if its the only purple accent outside the car.......

you could do blue lugs and purple calipers... thats much better.

I almost like the option of not doing my lug nuts
*just getting standard black ones or leaving the ones i have in*
and just getting the subtle valve stem caps for the tires..
.. not so much purple.. but slightly noticeable..

and imo, not enough ppl pay attention to the little details liek color coordination.

personally, i'd way rather pop someones hood and see some $ spent making it look good, in addition to performing well, than seeing a huge hp build that looks like a rat with a crowbar assembled everything.

but yeaahhh even if canada is a nice socialist place, get some wheel locks and not regular colored lug nuts. maybe a center cap over them after that, i would rather have my caps stolen than my wheels.

well, unless you are driving w/your hood open to let people know that you have purple accents underneath your hood, the purple lugs are going to look out of place.

but , in the end, all that matters is what YOU like. who give's a rat's a$$ what other people think, right?

dude, don't listen to any of the ricer comments..I have ford blue calipers, valve cover, and a few other spots on my car. But soon I'm getting my valve cover powdercoated black with baby blue guns like this but minus the writing..

So get those purple lugs, get them electric fans to clean up the bay..you should have painted your bay while the motor was out, assuming that you swapped it..but yeah, really sick kouki hatch.
