I was sitting at a red light, and the car rocked a little bit. I thought the person behind me was giving me a love tap, but nope, earthquake.
It's always funny to watch the news after an earthquake. Especially when the reporters talk to the locals, and the locals are standing there going, "Oh my god, I was sitting on my fat ass watching Dancing With the Stars, eating an entire bucket of chicken by myself, and the whole house started shaking back and forth, IT WAS SOOO SCARY!!! I thought bombs were going off, and I dropped my chicken into my fat rolls!"
We live in Socal. We feel several small earthquakes every year. If it's not a 5.0 or higher, its not a big deal.

The Hot and Cold weather changes will trigger these, just waiting for the big one to split Cali up.

earthquake...WTF...didnt feel anything...
They were fairly small quakes close to the ground with an epicenter in Yorba Linda. People nearby felt it pretty good since it was close to the surface; people further away didn't feel it so much because since it happened closer to the surface, the force dissipated faster.
Science is fun.

This is how it is when we get earthquakes in Indiana, only the whole news story is about how the fat bastard is agonizing over their porch getting damaged or something.
