The MSS is a 2 stage switching controller. You wire it up to the factory temperature sensor at the ECU and it reads the temperatures.

You can set 2 trigger points.. (when it reaches the temperature you set for it, it turns on one fan) then when it reaches the other temp it turns on the other fan.

When it cools back down and reaches a lower temp, it'll automatically turn both fans off.

The thing is pretty sweet. It also has a warning for when the temps get scary high.. You can set all these temperature values.
