Ok so I am looking to buy some wheels for my s14, Sportmax 962 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 both 35mm offset.

I was wondering if I will need a 10mm spacer for the front, any help??? Oh yeah stock suspension, I will soon be buyin some coilovers...

On stock suspension, you will probably need atleast 5mm to clear the struts. So 10mm will work. If you stick with those rims, you'd need atleast 25mm all around to make them look halfway decent. For as much you'd spend getting 4 25mm spacers ($110/pair), but your want the wheels to look decent, sell those rims and get something with a better offset.

Agreed. Get wider wheels with a lower offset, or even just a lower offset so you when you get your coilovers you can keep them looking decent. +35 offset is fail. At least get into the +20's if you want to use spacers to get good fitment when you lower the car, or be ganster and go negative and don't run a spacer at all. Good luck!

Yuck.

Is your car an SE, 5 lug?

I'd rather roll around on stockies than 962's especially on stock suspension.

wtf man.

Really, this thread is a year old. By that, I mean you went 10 pages deep to comment on the offset required for some Sportmax's????
