What’s the best was to set up a manual boost controller
I herd a couple different ways to set it up . And I was wondering what was the best

It depends. Will you ever need to change the setting while moving? I always mount mine in the cabin within reach, but it does affect response, 15 feet of hose and all. If you said "no", then I would suggest getting an adjustable actuator instead. If you change boost level infrequently than you really don't need a boost controller. Set it and forget it. No response fluctuations, usually no boost creep, (it won't correct a swingdoor that is too small or a restrictive outlet). Simple.
If you want to mess with it on a roll though I would suggest using fuel hose and protecting it near the turbo. Cheap hose can swell and collapse making maintaining a consistent boost setting very difficult. Fuel line is very stiff and doesn't succumb to pressure easily.

Yeah, longer the lines to the wastegate are, the bigger/longer your boost spike will be. May be bad enough to blow holes in your pistons the first time, may take a few times.

if you like to change boost often for some ungodly reason, go spend a few hun on an EBC maybe? Or buy an adjustable wastegate. that's the best option imo.

also iv seen people hook it up to there wastegate to there turbo and the other way from the intake manifold to there wastegate. is there a difference

yes. response will change a bit, better to connect it to the turbo compressor outlet but not a huuuuuge deal.

I thought about this idea before, and will probably implement it once I get back to Florida. Here is my thought. The MBC I have now is a Home Depot special, cost me about $10 to make, works great, but I have to go into the engine bay to change boost. Here is what I am thinking of doing.........

Make a 2nd boost controller, and then find a Y valve that I can electrically switch between the two, then just Y valve the two back together, you can individually set each MBC to whatever you feel like, then you can switch between the two inside the car, go from say 10psi, to 15psi, all while keeping the tubing short.
