I have 2 base model hatch's and curious if Behind the Dash (have one Hatch w/ an SE harness so I know its there) but don't wanna pull the dash to find out,if, the WIRING (big Blue Plugs) is on a Base model.
Meaning could you put Pwr windows in a Base Model?
I have a set of SE Doors w/ pwr windows in it that I could swap over is the point.

Incorrect. Base model S13s are not prewired for locks, windows, or cruise. I've stripped 3-4 dozen back in my parts days.

Man - How did I know YOu'd Know.
I was asking a guy today about them maybe,or maybe not them being there and I told him "I'll put a post up and ProjectRDM will know" - I swear to god!
The guy lives in GA and wants to buy my car,..but one of his conditions is that I hook my other spare set of Pwr windows in it.I asked him if he knew you.
Thank you. That saves me from pulling this Dash thats NEVER BEEN pulled on this car.:naughtyd:

There is a plug in the dash that the regular base harness plugs into, but the wiring doesn't exist. I've discussed it a few times in here, you just need to run a few wires through the dash.

Not that Russ needs it, but I'll confirm this as well. You need the entire chassis harness from a PW/PDL equipped car (unless you're willing to hack together a custom harness).

 power windows are nice, try reaching for the window handle with a harness on, I can't.
My car has power windows and love em, I had to repair the driver side regulator cable once and that worked for 2 years before it broke again. At that time I had enough extra cash lying around to purchase a new one.
I just think the handles look ugly on any car.

When you say entire chassis harness do you mean the engine bay harness too that is connected to the fuse boxes under the hood????? Because i also have a SE parts car with the power harnesses.

No, but keep in mind that the donor car MUST have the same engine / trans setup as yours. KA24E/AT KA24DE/MT etc

No. That's a completely separate harness. Chassis harness for an S13 is from SMJ back to the tail. It's all one harness. The engine bay/underhood harness is a different harness and not needed.

Nope. The power lock system was changed in '91, instead of a 2 wire negative trigger to a relay pack it's a 1wire reverse polarity system.
