I'm interested in purchasing JIC type C reclinable racing seats they retail for about $598 and the cheapest that I've seen them go for is $565 w/o seat rail which goes for another $160.

People have had a lot of problems with the JIC seats falling apart... I think theres a thread on freshalloy pertaining to that... might wanna invest in some Brides, or if your tall and fat some corbeaus

Is that So... I was pretty tempted to buy one next week. It would save me over 300 bucks compared to the price on the bride brix. When you guys say they fall apart, do you mean the fabric & stitching or the reclining mechanism ect.? Anyways I'll call them and see what kind of garantee/ warantee they'll back their product with. Isnt Bride in the U.S. now? If so, there needs to be a group buy! Thanks for your honest feedback!!! I'll check out FA too.

why would you wanta bride? cuz its JDM tyte? because of the name?
have you ever SAT In a bride seat? any Bride seat? have you tried it? make sure your fat asses fit in it?

group buys? damn that's so sad if you buy your car parts on group buys only. a brix isnt even that expensive in japan. let alone here if you buy it from the right people.

before you start talking about getting a bride, how about sitting in one first huh?

and for you guys

hahaha jeeeeeez man, half these guys are probably lusting after tham because they've seen you raving about them :p

I just want their rails, I'm pretty certain I'm too big for most of their seats... assuming the rails will fit Recaro (where did I hear that they would?).

I sat in a Bride seat, very comfy and snug but this was in a store floor model. Price was like $900. When your married it's hard to justify why you spent almost $1000 for a damn seat, which I can't hide like most of the suspension stuff I already have hehe =) Oh I'ts (Bureedo) to answer your quiz dousan!

Where do you guys try out seats? I'm assuming from friends, but what if you don't have friends with after market seats? (Then you need better friends!) If I get seats I'd like to TRY the seats before I buy them, a la what dousan said.
