slipping?

Need a little help here guys last night I was at the drag strip doing my thing and i started off the night good but then all of sudden when I threw in fourth it slipped on me and then it grabbed on after awhile so i decided to go home and see what the hell it was and on my way home it kept slipping only on fourth and fifth but all the other gears were fine any ideas?:rant2:

Clutch is done...clutch would slip more on higher gears than lower gears since it takes more effort to do so.

I put that clutch in about a month ago and the flywheel Its all new

theres your problem. you put it in a month ago and your already at the strip! you need to break it in for a lot longer than that if you want it to last.

Unless you have driven 500~1000 stop and go(city) miles before going to the strip. I would say you glazed it.

I thought if I drove it for about 700 miles before going to the strip that would break in enough to beat the hell out of it?if anything just replace the damn clutch, thanx guys

What Clutch(material)? Flywheel Resurfaced?
