Hey anyone who can help it would be greatly apprciated.
I have a COUPE w/o sunroof and there is a 6pt cusco cage for sale but it is the hatchback model. I want to go pick it up tomorrow, so anyone who can answer this tonight is F---ing AWESOME.
Hatch model : 220 261 ES
Coupe only model :220 261 E
Will the ES model fit in my coupe?
Thanks,

hard to say.
I have heard that they do.
I have heard that they don't.
I have a hatch with cusco cage
I've seen a coupe with cusco cage.
The main hoop does NOT seem to be in the same place.
Cusco thought it was important enough to make seperate part numbers for the parts. I think that should say SOMETHING.

you can make it fit w/ a hammer and a friend.. its not supposed to fit, the only part you need to play w/ is the front bar that crosses by the visors.. bolt everything up hand tight so it moves around still, then jam it in and hammer away lol .. then tighten everyhting around it
Or.... just buy one for a coupe.

Somehow, "adjusting" a roll cage by "jamming it in and hammering away" just doesn't seem like the greatest idea in my mind. I may be wrong, but it just seems like a bad idea, structurally.

:stupid: I mean you could fit it in right, with some accurate cuts and weld it back together. but that seems like a laborious and full of headaches. compared to getting one that basically slips in.

Buy a hatch if you want it so bad.
