Yeah they're pretty bad ass. I hat xt-alpha on my s14 and now I have xr on my s13. They absorb bumps and road undulations like molasses

I have a question, I just bought a set of these coilovers for my S13, and i was just told last night at a meet that just running these without any other suspension parts will cause the body to twist/bend/brake because of the high spring rates? is this true? can someone help, I'm hoping that this was false information...

twist/bend/break? sounds like step by step instruction to kill a chicken. but yea, you are probably talking about the flexing the car body will suffer. its normal. but damn, break? like as in break the chassi in half? you not planning on monster trucking the car are you? :smash: but yeah, it is safe to say that 90% of the cars on this forum has coilovers, and i dont think anyone has mentioned about their chassi breaking! unless im mis understanding your statement in regards to breaking.

for now get front and rear strut bars. it"ll help your chassi alittle more.

Damn, I guess my car should have been broken in half by now, since I've been running 9/7k springs for like 2 years with nothing more than some cheap strut tower bars helping out.

I have never seen the strut towers in an S13 or S14 break from any coil over. Unibody is pretty sweet in the 240sx, hence its popularity.

Now E36's...... thats a whole other story.
