From what I've found there seem to be 3 options for a triple gauge A-pillar pod.

Autometer: $70-$80
Speedhut: $50-$60
Glow Shift: $30

Does anybody have any experience with these? I'd like one that replaces the whole pillar. Their sites only show close-ups or generic pics.

Pics would be great!

Ugh. There are so many better places to put a gauge than right in your face.

Definitely agreed. O, and the fact that you have to refocus your eyes 3 times to look at the different gauges.
my 2 cents, put them on the dash, or in/around the din.
To your question, I had(have) a 1 pod from glowshift that fit alright. and the material texture seemed to be close to stock? idk about the 3 pillar though.

I was looking for a 3 pod about a year ago but couldnt find one for an S13 (not counting ebay) So i can have them all in one place Boost, Oil Pressure, coolant Temp.Without having to look in 3 different places.

I kinda prefer them on the A-Pillar, I run Defi's so i dont have to constantly look at them, I like them in my line of sight so if i see a little red light pop in my perif I can notice a problem faster. (the Warning tone is not that audiable under WOT or when im listening to the radio)

I turn all my gauges so the needles point to the top when the readings are appropriate when the car is at operating temp. If one of the needles isn't at the top, at a glance, I can look more carefully.

i think the 3pod on the pillar is ok.. as longs you have your boost gauge where you can see comfy. other two is just pretty must for reference in my opinion.. you wouldnt really have to always look at it.. well.. pretty much goes the same for the boost i guess... how many of you guys really look at the boost gauge every single second you drove? LOL

How may of you guys actually look at post dates before you bump a thread from 2 years ago to add nothing?

:duh: = :lockd:
