I already have made two deals with the seller to buy the engine.

1st deal:
It was originally posted as $1700 and nothing was told that wrong with the engine. I agreed to purchase it for $1700 and was told that I would get to test drive the car, Thursday April 16 at a car meet, with the motor in a car before he asks his tuner to take it off then he will deliver the engine to me.

*5 mins later: he edits his for sale thread to $1900.

I call to clarify the situation, got a response he tells me not to worry about it. Then the next day he said he received a lot of offers for $1900. I agree to his new asking price and set deal number two.

Second deal: I agreed to pay the new asking price of $1900 and nothing was told nothing was wrong with the engine. We will now meet up Friday, April 17 at his tuners place by Irwindale. He said when it get taken out of the motor I have to pick it up. I still agreed. And he agreed to post online to pending sale to me

Today: I see this thread, called up the seller 10 mins ago. He explains... as he was explaining I read the thread and see low compression numbers.

I ask the seller why he is making the sale very difficult, and he now say he wants me to go to his house test the car there and if I do that he will now sell me the motor for the asking price of $1700 again. I saw the compression numbers and did not feel comfortable with the sale, said no to the seller and hung up.

I wanted to purchase the motor but seller is making it difficult. After arranging two unsuccessful deals, and felt very uncomfortable with the deals being made. I have to decline the purchase today.

I have no personal grudges with the seller, but I think if you really wanted to make a sale quick you will make it as easy as possible for the buyer.

Oh dont be but hurt! I asked for you to test drive my car at my tuners shop in West Covina as I have asked others to do since that is where the motor is so get that straight. Lets be logical here no deal is final untill cash is my HAND so heck if I can make 200 more dollars I will go that route. For me to drive 4 hours to meet up with you is unacceptable so get that through your brain!! If you wanted the motor you could have met with me LIKE I asked for you to in the first place! Keep in mind MY post said what will be included and you were persistent on wanting my FMIC and BOV at a lower price. In good faith I said screw it and said you could take it off my hands for 1700 like arranged previously. Since Im bumping once again I WANT THIS MOTORSET GONE $1600 for everything and it can be picked up in West Covina this weekend!! Thank you for not having a grudge this motor will be sold but not to you. Thank you for calling my phone like an ignorant jerk cussing and yelling at me.

Yea from what I have read 156psi is stock cyl compression but then again I have read 180, I have been told my a few guru's on here 156psi is stock, not to sure why they are that low hasnt burned a drop of oil doesnt overheat and they all seem to be within 4psi of eachother. $1600 seems fair enough at the moment.

$1900 or 1600 is a steal and i realy dont understand how someone could ask the person who is selling an item to drive a couple of hours to be closer to where the buyer wants. if you want the item, drive down and take a look and pick it up urself or pay for shipping. i drove 6 hours to pick up my engine and drove back another 6 hours to drop it off at my shop.

if you want something really bad, you'll put an effort into getting it.
