View Full Version : Driftworks Hicas eliminator kit?
hey guys, i want to completely remove hicas from my car, it already has a Tomei hicas lock in it, but the rear balljoints for the hicas rack are dead, so i searched and came across these: Driftworks Total HICAS Eliminator (http://www.driftworks.com/catalog/products/driftworks-total-hicas-eliminator.html)
anyone else run those? any problems with them?
it works out to be almost cheaper than buying a pair of new rear balljoints and a hicas lock bar..

or just buy a non hicas subframe
its for a gtr, there are no factory non hicas subframes for it, the closest one i could think of would be the s13 one, but the holes for mounting the diff is different, and im not sure if it has holes for hte ATTESA pump and acuator.
besides, its much easier to install the eliminator kit than to drop the whole subframe :P
