Ok, I spent all afternoon checking continuity and voltage across different wires.
I have narrowed my problem to the fact I have no power to the EGI pump Relay with the key in the on position. The relay has been replaced, but there is no power to the wiring under the top half of the relay. The car wont turn over either, and obviously I have no fuel pump buzz. I need to check the starter 12v from battery but it should be working just fine.
I checked the fuses by the driver's feet, the battery fuses all have power, but the accessory fuses have no power. I accidentally jumped power to the lowest right fuse and my fuel pump began to prime and my shoulder belts moved(what the heck that all about?).
The ignition switch has no power to it either...shouldn't there be at least on 12v constant to this? I take my idiot light and no matter which solder point on the back of the switch I touch, the light doesn't come on.
I had this car started 2.5 months ago. I don't know what has changed other than: Battery relocation to trunk, Added some gauge wiring, ecu was not case grounded(does it matter, had it laying on the floor last time it started),
I have the starter and white wires from relay box(passenger side engine compartment) wired to the positive 12v, and the other is just grounded, battery is grounded in back.
I will investigate any suggestion put forth. Would another ground close to the starter on the block help?
Thanks
