hehe finally the freaking things in Gboro somewhere! I placed the order in JANUARY!!! they put it on the slow boat from taiwan evidently. had they mentioned it was on back order when I ordered it I would have gotten a different one. ah well...

Phil get your money! hopefully this thing goes on this weekend

oh yeah its a VIS racing (shut up they dont make all crap my vis bumper is eating through my greddy IC piping :p ) carbon Fiber invader style hood. If the quality is as nice as the oem style hood I saw from them I'll be happy as shit! evidently its been in town for like TWO DAYS and no ones called about delivering it grrrr ah well its time to leave work im outta hear with a smile on my face :)

take pics when you put in on. I was intrested in that hood too. You have the same bumper as me correct? Do you still hvae the front lip?

Yeah brandon, I'm buckling down... 15 hours of OT this week and early next, plus the 9 I worked last weekendm if all goes according to plan, I will get the old hood and skirts fomr you and jason's bumper next time I get paid

Nitekids yeah but mines a Zenki, technically I do still have the lip but its not on the car. trying to redo it in CF :D got my bodyguy working on it. so it'll be back eventually. but yeah I'll definately take pics of it and get them up

well hopefully the geniuses can deliver it tomorrow. and I can get Jason over and drill the holes for the hood pins either tomorrow or sat. but will be sure to take pics

Im just so stoked about it, I took it all out of the packaging and inspected it, it survived shipping beautifully nice rolled edges very sturdy piece. I set it on the car over my current hood just to get an idea... Im so glad I went with this style over the AB Flug 6 vent style. my only gripe is the windshield washer nozzel holes. I dont have any nozzels to go in there (and the first D eater to suggest those cobra eyes LED ones gets a pimp slap) that and I really dont wanna put the tank and pump and stuff back in. oh well. pic to come later tonight or tomorrow. I gotta get outta the house... cant decide on if I wanna go see all the ricers in high point or to the strip club......

I-ight kiddies new pics are up, sorry you have to have an imagestation account to view. Im too lazy today to load them on that crappy asted tripod site :) very happy with the hood. fit is overall great only one spot Im not 100% happy with but I can fix it later. great fit great finish and now great pics of it!

looks good steeles, one of the girls in town has an Invader hood on her 97, I think they were having fitment problems last I saw, but yours looks like it fit nicely.

read the first post lol. turns out we didnt shave enough of the back of my front bumper and its been rubbing the pipe. well through some evil trick of satan the fiberglass VIS bumper is wearing through the Greddy piping. (and people say VIS makes crap HA!! I scoff at them) so duct tape is protecting whats left of the piping for now. cute huh? just my luck. the day I get my new hood all installed I blow a tire. I was waiting for the fronts to wear out so I could buy a new set but thought I had like a month at least. nope new tires tomorrow probabl. sux ascot. I cant seem to win for losing
