What do you guys reccomend for these 235/40/17 FK452 tires up front? The tire says MAX 51psi, I usually run like 35-38, but with these tires it feels a bit sloppy.

I think Im gonna get it up to like 42psi, should i worry about anything? or is that just obscene tire pressure?

Any experienced FK452 drivers, welcome to comment!

I ran my fk452 at 34 psi it felt fine to me when I ran auto-x. I ran them at 38 and it felt like crap.

They have a 300 treadwear...don't expect anything too amazing from these.

Your best bet is too just try varying tire pressure to what feels best for you. I run RT-615 at 40 psi and my friend with the same car and tire feels better driving with 34 psi at autocross. Just my 2cents.

Mine felt pretty responsive at 32-34psi up front.

Mine were 215/40/17s on 17x9 rims.

Ok, I guess i might drop them down the 35 and see what i get.

I am comparing them to BFG G-Force Sports, so they should be every bit at grippy if not better.

Drop them to 34-33 psi. I really liked my fk254. For some reason they like a lower psi...
They were better than BFG IMO.

HIGHER PSI is never better for grip.

See, i had 25 psi in my BFG's, and they were sloppy as shit, so i put it up to 36, and its like i had gotten brand new tires again. I guess i'll lower them down a bit
