Found a few seibon hoods for the s14 zenki on ebay for $480 shipped. Just wondering what selling would someone recommend? Dont want any problems just a good price on a quality hood.

I have always looked for actual online shops like Enjuku, Z fever, Touge factory etc. Alot of those places will post stuff they want to get moving out of there warehouse on ebay but other than that just do some research on the seller and good luck.

id buy a hood from a shop. if its cracked or defective in some way, they can deal with their supplier.

I agree with buying one at an aftermarket shop. You might pay a hundred or two more, but it's for actual quality. I've known several people that have tried to save money by buying carbon hoods off of ebay and most of them didn't fit the car for shit. Then they just try and pawn it off on someone else through craigslist or in the local paper at a cheaper price hoping to cut their loses. Ebay prices ruin a realistic perspective on what quality parts should be sold for. But it's your decession, it would just suck to spend almost 500 on a hood you can't use or have to spend more money modifying just for it to work right.

you'll want to buy it someplace nearby since you'll likely need to return that piece of crap

why would you say that. there are many people who had success with seibon products. Of course there is going to be a few mess ups but Im sure seibon has resolved this.

Jessieskits(?)
I just got mine on today.
Jessiekits is also NRG Motortrend. They called me around 3 times just to make sure everything was alright.
It was $480 shipped with $50 insurance. Definitely worth it.
Great company.

I ordered it and around a week later it showed up, which is ridiculous. (S15 CF Hood)
After I ordered it, they called and confirmed my order. Afterwards they called again to make sure 1 more time. Then they called with tracking number. Then they called to make sure I got it and everything was okay.
Great company for sure.

seibon is total crap. i have owned two of their hoods and both hoods had problems with the clear coat going to absolute shit after about 5 months. They advertise they use UV protectant in their clear coating but i find that very hard to believe. i wouldnt waste my money. buy an FRP hood and get it painted. carbon hoods are lame anyways.
