What up everybody! My car won’t hold boost, it just revs up and feels N/A when I punch it and it sounds like a sti but not in a good way. Thought it was a boost leak but everything is good. Did timing not to long ago so don’t think it’s that, but let me know if you think different. Can’t figure out what’s wrong with it already searched, but didn’t find a solid answer.
I’m running a ka24et, here’s the setup:
T25
Log manifold
Full 3 inch exhaust
2.5 intercooler piping
Fmic
Greddy bov
Fc injectors
Z32 fuel filter
S-afcII
Walbro fuel pump
Let me know what you guys think. Thanks...

I've checked theres no leaks, all vacuums are right, im running like 10psi I've tried to tune it at a couple shops but it seems like nobody wants to tune it because its a KA24et so im still looking for a shop in my area.

Usually,
"sounding like an sti or lawnmower from UNDER THE HOOD" and the car will not build or hold boost means there is a leak between the manifold and turbo.
The reason no one wants to tune your car is because you have an SAFC, and its a POS, and it will blow your engine, and they probably don't want any part of that.

check for a dead cylinder.
pull the plugs off one by one til you get no change. had it recently happen to me.

+1
Had that happen to me on the freeway! Was driving fine and one of my spark plug wires wasn't making a contact and suddenly the car lost tremendous power and started to sound like a subi.

one shop asked if it had stock internals I said yeah then they laughed and said that thing should blew already after 5psi but thats bullshit

bad injectors if it sounds like a sti. Also check for sparks if its going through all cylinders. if anything you might have to check your O-rings in the injectors if they are cracked. lmk what happens.

changed injectors still same problem.. I think its the pig tail on the second one cuz if i unplug it while its running it doesn't bog out it remains the same

Sounds like that's where ur problem lies then. I'd focus on that injector then.

Curious about your setup. Can you post some engine bay pics. Thanks!

When idling does everything seem fine. Like its not missing, or hesitating? Maybe you didnt time the motor correctly

This sounds a lot like a problem my buddy was having a while ago, it was on a r32 gtr tho. He checked everywhere for days for vacuum leaks, boost leaks, exhaust leaks, everything, because it wouldn't boost. Took off his turbos and the turbines were disintegrated. It had run too lean as well, and fucked his #6 valves and put a hole in his piston. He's now selling his GTR that he spent a total of $21000 on for 5000 bucks. lol. I hope you aren't having the same problem, but you might wanna check your turbos. :S

i would check piston/cylinder. my sound like a subi because my 4th piston ring/piston crack. *when pull motor out and check SR*

Thats not so easy nor quick, and a pain if its your daily driver, especially if you don't have a crane and the rest of the tools, and then its expensive too. Check your turbo first. Your wastegate could be stuck open too. Might be easiest to save up and take somebody's old KADE, people are practically GIVING them away. I sold my whole KADE swap for $500 and thats even a lot, AND its canadian dollars! lol. Most of those parts would swap over anyway.

I'll check the turbo and wastegate first.. I really hope its not a ring or piston cuz I got this motor like a year ago with like 80k miles on it for 500.. if it is a ring or piston I think I might be going sr
