Nice car, don't really like how the lip looks on your car (well cuz it dont fit right), but I like how its a different color, gives it the skyline/rx7/supra/ all those other cars with black lips.

Only think I hate is the pink kazama box, coulda made it red or sumin :p

How is the nismo shift knob (comfortability and grip wise)?
Also how is the accuracy on the Rev Speed Meter?

KiDyNomiTe: -3.5 front, -4 rear :) its for drifting. it works well with my car's lack of power (stock KA) and is SO DAMN SMOOTH mid drifts. initiation are ridiculously easy, feints, braking drifts, chokudoris, etc etc. its nuts. the coilovers are still my weak point, but they'll be replaced soon

Dorifto180sx: damn you ricers these days. yeah im dumping the z brakes. i dont have the poewr to really need them. i've never overheated stock calipers/rotors on the track using aftermarket pads/lines/rotors. NEVER. people get this idea that bigger is better. yeah in a way it is, but in reality for most its not. its just overkill and useless. anyways, that's my thoughts. i got grant's stock brakes and putitng those on. then i'll have the xr-4s on all corners :) bling bling! either that or the SSR formula meshes hmmmm

no silvia front end, i dont like sil80s. some look good, yes no doubt, but i just dont like how the lines flow

i was in canada (vancouver) on vacation and went to a few junkyards around there. didnt find much s13. did find a coupe w/ the seatbelts, so i just took the belts of course. cost me about 60 USD iirc.

the actual job to put it in took me about 1 hour both sides. then a few days later took out the seatbelt controller as well (under center console). havent had any problems whatsoever. its funny when people sit in the car they are like "huh? where are the seatbelts...oh manual ones.."

i didnt worry about the panels. i only care about the 'cockpit' area. i keep that neat and clean and the carpeting in up there. the rest doesnt matter to me. just leave as is.

1. HELL YA. getting HKS HyperMax D or Kei Office XR soon. jury is still out. both cost me same price
2. FLB: yes, i have to check with some people about it. my friend might be a dealer so if he is ill get it
3. the rear wheels ARE NOT FOR THIS CAR! its for my soon to have other car ;) its a true old school car.
4. i cant get a aftermarket bumper. i am at track too much pushing the car balls out. i'd go thru a bumper every 2 events im sure. the 89/90 lip is cheap and replaceable. body kits are pretty cheap but i dont want to spend that much money every 2 months. i scrape EVERYWHERE daily driving, its not even funny. its downright annoying.
5. i dont like porterfields, my friend has them. i wasnt impressed. KVRs i had NEVER overheated, never faded, and that was after 30 minute sessions on the track doing grip, 5 times in a day. i braked HARD too (my friend time on track and the second time on track)
6. yeah damn headlights. i should get those JdM TyTe SyLvIA ones! woot woot!
7. haha..windex is to clean the bird sh!t that falls on my car's windows when i park under trees. and to clean the car at the track so i can see clearly. :) my trunk rear is almost always empty now. just got a box of brake stuff and athomas guide and my torqe wrench/tools lying around there.

10. i have a harness, little 3 pt one. its just cuz i slide all over my s14 seats. when i get the brixs in, the harness will be pretty useless haha..

I'm not going to use the porterfields anymore myself.

Check out Carbotech.. Panther + or Panther XP. XP isn't really a streetable pad though.. AWESOME bite at the track though. Ferodo DS3000 also a kickass track pad. Hawk Blue too, but not paint friendly. lol

I'm going to have a set of track pads, and rotors in the near future, and I'm just gonna run Metal Masta's on the street.


edit: what kind of "Track" are you talking about? Drifting or Grip? I don't drift (yet) so I don't know how hard it is on brakes.

track? oh grip at willow springs (streets of willow actually)
drift there too. mostly drifting at the local events. its not really hard on the brakes at all. just use them for a quick lockup or something. still learning braking techniques.

not sure yet. got a few up my sleeve. most likely jspec. sam is cool as hell and i've done the leg work to narrow it down to those 2 choices. and i can trust sam. and he's local (no shipping) so that's always a plus.

might also hold out for the GP Sports if they come out with a damper adjustble one w/ a more 'streetable' (using that term very lightly) setup sometime soon. 12/10 is too much for USDM street. 10/8 is max i could take. kei office are 9/7. hks are 10/8
hks more adjustability, but kei office is more 'streetable' 10/8 would be pretty damn stiff.

The color sucks ass, I dislike that color, one of the worst, imho.

The Nardi steering wheel looks like it came off the S.S.Mino.
Too many stickers, I don't like .. I know the reason's, but still, if I had to put stickers, it'll be on the underside of the hood or something.
The lip needs some paint, at least some flat blk primer paint

im still jealous of johnny because he got those demon cambers. how did he fit them in the front? my xr-4s aer 7.5 +5 and they fit well w/ -3.5/-4 (i have -4, but -3.5 would fit too). how can he get -4 on the fronts? ack. i can juice out -3.5. i'll have to examine them closer next time. they look good though!!!!

and i assume i'll see you two at april 6th RS*R event!

Fitment was nothing special, he just maxed out his camber plates, perfect fit. But the same size in the rear would stick out far too much.

You don't have to assume we'll be there on the 6th, of course we'll be there! We're both in the competition, so we'll see you there!
