went to go get a cap and rotor and found they have 2 different one's for the KA24E.... anybody have any tips, brands, or clarifications on this?

oem when possible
i have used bosch cuz it was in stock/local

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the "mitsubishi" or "Hitatchi" type caps. I dont remember if those are the two, but there are two.
iirc one has flat surface on the side and it won't match up with your distributor if it's the wrong one. Just ask the counterman to take them both outside and match it up.

does it have to do with if the car is an SE or not.
this is a link that shows 2 different types of under 1989 240sx,could this be a reason?
