well this is my s13 hatch it had a decent amount of rust and was in need of a rebuild so i went to town on it. let me know what you think and i will but updating this thread with the next stage of this project which is awd swap to the vh41 iv already started stock piling parts for the swap and will get going on the strut to knuckle adapters now that i got a bridgeport in the shop.

Looks awesome, better than alot of tube chassis' that I have seen. I may have to go down this road in the near future, floor pan and possibly the support rails are beginning to show rust.
Hope it isn't too far gone.

Keep up the good work. Would like to see the finished product for sure.

Wonder how much heavier it will be after the fact...

just cut the stock one and reinforce it:kiss:

its not the strength its the fact that i need to run gtr knuckles and with out the sub frame and lower control arms the geometry will be all wrong i want this car to handle well still so i want to make sure i get the center of gravity and the roll center geometry right

i just got a r180 diff out of a wrx to use as the front diff only thing is the fact that the gear ratio is 3.54 which would be a fun gear out on the highway with a twin turbo awd s13 but i wont be able to match that for the rear diff anyone know of a r180 diff with a stock gear ratio iv got a jdm vlsd with 4.08 gears in it now but i can put a stocker diff in with a 1.5 kaaz in the rear with the stocker ratio

Looks like the car is going to be sick, what are you building it for drag, drift, track?

romerider153
04-13-2009, 04:10 PM
track car and hill climbs here in new england and basically just something to build and keep me occupied and since im opening my own fab/tuning shop it gives me a chance to try out some off the wall stuff, before i got a customer that wants it for there own car.

You can run a Q45 rear diff. It has a 3.54 (3.538, to be exact) gear ratio.
You have to run a driver's side Z32 TT axle on the 240's driver side, and a driver's side Q45 axle on the 240's passenger side, along with 5 lug hubs from either a Z32 TT or a Q45.

I know a guy junking a r32 gtst this weekend. I will try to get them if they will work for you. My A31 shares alot of parts with the s-13 and r32. So they should work.
