View Full Version : no power to fuel injectors

i have a 240 sx and my harness wrapped around my fan so i replaced the harness and the computer. now im getting spark but im not getting any power to my fuel injectors. i cant figure out what the problem could be.

Sure you didn't fry the new ecu you put in the car?

Key on engine off you should have battery voltage at each red wire on each of the 4 injectors. Check this first.

Once you have known source supplied put a noid light on the injector plug and see if it lights.

The ECU "grounds out" the circuit completing the path.

If you want anymore help you should probably list what year 240 you have.

The injectors are run straight to the ignition harness and receive there 12v right off the main fuse block, through the ignition harness on the "ON" position and the "start" position. Check the fuses first and then check to see if you are getting 12v right there. Then you can trace it back to see where the signal is lost.

As said the ECU injector driver grounds out the injectors to make them fire.
