I have noticed that the inside of my tires bald fairly quickly. And I definitely know it happens because my car has a sus. kit, and it is lowered 1.5 inches. So, I need to know if anyone knows about any good camber kits. The camber kit will help me out, so I dont have to go through tires so quickly. Can anyone make any suggestions?? Any help will be fine. Just give me some brand names, ratings, prices, web sites, etc. Thanks PEACE

did you get an alignment after you lowered it?
i had my car at -1.5 for 6 months with NO uneven tire wear.
toe kills tires, NOT camber
anyways, pdm-racing.com has correction kits
www.pdm-racing.com has one

Toe is the horizontal angle of your tires. A 0 toe set will have your tires pointing straight ahead of the car. Then you have your negative toe settings, where the front of the tires are pointed towards the outside of the car ( \\ // ) and a positive toe setting where the front of your tires are pointing towards the engine bay of the car ( // \\ ) (BTW, these pictures basically are top down views of the toe settings).

Camber doesn't help... My car obviously hadn't been aligned in YEARS when i first got it aligned and it ate the insides right off of tires (brand new ones, shot to hell in like 4-5000 miles) and when I got it aligned, the problem was camber... I lowered the car about 3 weeks ago and IMMEDIATELY got it aligned and oddly, my camber wasn't that bad on the rear to be corrected and tire wear wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the OTHER thing that kills tires... I went to PDMracing.com and I went to suspension. This is what I found under camber kits. Is this what I should be getting? These eccentric bolts for camber adjustment? It is only $25.00 for a kit! That seems cheap. $25.00 can save me from using my tires to a limit of 5-6months. That seems good. Hopefully this is the thing I need and the thing that will fix my problem. Is this all I need? PEACE
Eccentric Bolts for Camber Adjustment
Eccentric Bolts for Camber Adjustment
These eccentric bolts replace your stock strut to spindle bolts and allow for front camber adjustment on the 240SX. The simplest and cheapest method to adjust front camber without purchasing more expensive top camber plates. One kit required per vehicle.
S13 (1989-1994) 81250 Front Camber Bolt Kit (12mm). . . . . $25.00/pair
S14 (1994-1998) 81260 Front Camber Bolt Kit (14mm). . . . . $25.00/pair
Rear Camber Correction Bushings
NEW and a FIRST for rear camber correction. Whiteline has introduced these offset rear polyurethane bushings that will help to correct excess negative camber often associated with 240SX's and 300ZX's lowered more than 1.5 inches. KCA347 includes enough bushings for the rear of your 240SX and 300ZX to correct up to .75 degrees of camber. Purchase 2 kits for up to 1.5 degrees of camber correction.
240SX/300ZX (S13, S14 1989-1998) Rear Camber Correction Bushings (KCA347) . . . . . NOW $65.00/set **
** Note KCA347's are a direct replacement of SPF1638K's. You can substitute 1 or both sets of SPF1638K's for KCA347's to help correct excess negative camber on lowered cars.

I had a question about camber correction kits. If i were to get a kit would i have to put it on the car and then go somewhere and get it aligned or just give the kit to the person doing the alignment or what? If i were to get some camber plates is it the same situation, put them on and then get an alignment or what? Sorry im not a suspension guru, im a little confused.

I have a cure for you tire wear woes..
METHODICAL TIRE ROTATION..
I rotate my tires every 2000-3000 miles, and have perfectly even tread wear.
I run -2 front -1 rear (-1 is the factory spec for the rear)

Good idea, outside of those of us who run staggered tire sizes... I won't be doing that much longer, when I get my new wheels though.
