View Full Version : Beyond Redline Genesis Coupe Hits 344whp!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beyond Redline in Green Bay, WI just plowed the field with the Genesis Couple 2.0T. Tonight we just made a 20spi run with our full Turbo back exhaust prototype and our 3076 turbo prototype. On the dynojet we did 344whp and ran out of fuel with the stock fuel pump.

If you guys are interested here is a link to the Genesis forum that all the big name vendors are involved with. Below we have dyno videos and exhaust fab pictures along with FMIC pictures. We have been busting our asses to be the first to do the high horsepower 2.0t Genesis available quality production parts.

I believe there will be a shoot out held by Buschur racing in Ohio coming shortly. Magazine coverage is a guarantee at this blaze fest.

I know this is a new chassis to everyone and I would appreciate if you could leave some feedback on what you guys think we could improve on, or ideas?

That is correct. It is a pretty beefy engine from the factory, metal head gasket factory. Thank you Hyundai.

1 quick question tho, what do you guys use for boost control, i.e factory ECU boost control, MBC, or EBC?

The genesis is a hyundai, not a nissan (two different car manufactures/companies). needs to go to the offtopic.

It is great news for tuners though. It's cheap as far as new perfromance cars go and with some relatively inexpensive mods can undercut the 370z's performance in all aspects.

Sounds pretty fucking cool to me.

(these cars will also depreciate like a mother fucker I would assume, so in a few years it will be a GREAT value. Especially, once the aftermarket has had 3+ years with it)

We are using a turbosmart manual boost controller as of the moment.

This is exactly how i see it. And with a few years in the market we'll actually see how the aftermarket takes to the car. We'll also probably end up seeing what the car is capable of.
