The 2009 season for Redline Time Attack is upon us. And you'll be seeing us at their east coast events again this year. We've got a lot planned for this season, including the introduction of our newest toy, the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
But don't think we've forgotten our S14. No sirrie! In fact, here's a little preview/teaser pic for what you can expect this year.

It's a custom in-house built rear diffuser cut into a a vS kit. There's also wide fenders from D-Max going up front and Origin in the rear. That's just the tip of the iceberg for what we've got planned before the first race.
I'll be sure to keep everyone updated with more pics once it's polished up a bit. :D

I love the work you typically see on "Time Attack" there seems to be a lot more ingenuity and design than your typical drift car. I bet this will be a sweet build to follow, given your starting point...

Nice build coming cant wait to see this is person! For the headlights, did you just make some frp covers? I am doing this but am takings ome short cuts since moulding is expensive to make, I know I did it for a couple years. Im wondering what you guys did for yours? Im going frp but for now it will be aluminum with a projector mounted since I daily it..

I like the color scheme. Also, i wish i could offer you some of my new stuff right now... full widebody kit, but it is in mold making stage right now. I wanted to say that with the alumalite, try to keep the splitter leading edge down to 3 or 3.5". Because unless it is balls to the wall secured with a good fabbed frame, it will vibrate in the right situation. And just be sure to plan for an effective air flow path under the car if you go with an alumalite diffuser. G.L. with the build, and maybe i will see you guys out there when i am filming for timeattack.tv (http://timeattack.tv)

I'm fitted with18"x 9.5" in the front with a 25mm spacer and our 25mm. fenders.
10" is a little more than i need for the weight of the car and the compound that i use, as well as my front spring rate. Very stiff setup in the front. Also i am upgrading to an electric steering system from an Altima so that i can get faster steering response and more steering torque due to the stickier slicks.

It's a winning compound if you are 2,500 lb's or below.
But not easy to find anymore. JIC set us up with their last 16 tires before they started working with Yokohama this season. I think tire availablilty issues were a factor in the change to Yokohama.

If I was to redo mine, i would cut out a box on the floor and notch it so the seat sits as low as possible. My seat is higher than I would like it to be. Maybe I will change that some time this summer if I have the time.
