1. I think my trucck has too play when its latched? I get a really anooying rattling sound come from the back on my car and I noticed when I close my trunk if I press down there is a bit of play with the striker and the metal latch. Also the rear right side of the trunk is higher than the other end.
2. My pass window works when it wants to. Some times it will work for 2 weeks then stop working for a few days. Do you think theres a..short..amplier going bad?...motor going bad?

1) You can adjust the latch, there's 3 10mm bolts I believe, on the inside (pull the plastic off, you'll see them). Loosen them up, move the latch down, tighten them up again. The one side being higher than the other thing, I'd look at the rubber "standoffs" - you're probably missing one.
2) S13 or S14? Early '95 S14? Could be the power window amp, could also be the switch. You'd have to put a multimeter on the motor to know for sure.

1. Thanks, I'll have to mess around with it this weekend and see whats up. I did notice both sides had the same amount of standoffs though
2. Its a 96, I don't think its the switch because whether im using the driver switch or the pass it doesn't work. I'm not sure how to use a multimeter but im guess what I'd have to see is see if the voltage drops from the battery when I use the switch?
Thanks.

Pull your door panel off (a couple bolts, the rest are 'pops', so be careful to not break two in a row, or your door panel won't feel solid), and up towards the top/front, you'll see a black rectangular plug - pull it apart, and using a battery tester or some wire hooked up to your battery, give one of the pins +12v and the other ground - if nothing happens, switch em - the window should go up and down depending on which way you've got it plugged in.
If nothing happens, or it doesn't go up and down smoothly, you've got a motor problem. If it works fine (like I'm expecting it to), you've got a switch and/or wiring problem.

Exactly. The 'amp' for the passenger side window is built into the driver side master switch, so it's usually the motor that's the problem.
