I am painting my hatch in the next week or so, and i want to paint it white, anyway, the white i want is on the lexus rx 350 suv. It looks like a pearl white with a lot of flake in it. I have been trying to figure out what the name of it is, its either crystal pearl white, or starfire white, i am having trouble figuring it out, can anyone lmk what that color is?

I think lexus has the best paint colors out right now.
Looking at the build your lexus page i think it's starfire pearl.

Why dont just u go to the paint store ans open up the paint book. look at lexus\year and u should find it easily. oem manufactures use basically a certain amount of colors on all there models ever so 2-3 years to save cost on manufacture and repairs for insurancd companys. your gonna go to buy the painf anyways at the store right?? the paint guy aint gonna look it up for u or us. too much work and guessing.

I guess it was pretty hard just to go the Lexus website to find out yourself...? Some people are just hopeless.

Finding the right color off a website is really not what you think.
I alway see this white pearl Cadillac color that has a pink and yellow pearl in it... however Cady has no real paint codes and the names are different for each year on top of them having 3 different whites.
So I figured House of Kolor would have the best... Wrong... it has a heavy Bone color in it and its not what I wanted... now I have $1000 worth of paint I dont want... and have to order more... not only that but No-one wants to spray HOK.
God forbid if you wanted Maziora paint!!

but oem candys and 3 stage paint jobs do. They have to for insurance reasons/repairs(oem is associated with insurance companys). IF you see a color on a car it has to be in a paint book. There is no reason for a car manufacture to use hok or custom candys that cant be repaired or duplicated easily. DOesnt make sense. Like i said look at a paint book in a store. Look by maker/year and you'll find it easily. Take the book outside in the sun to find the color easier. You can even go to cars.com or autotrader and look at the model and search untill you find the car and it'll say the paint name. IT wont say the code but you will then have some kind of a guess on wat it is.
alot of ppl want to spray hok just no one wants to pay for it lol. YOu cant take it back to the store you bought it from?? i dont see why not. Most stores will take un opened packaged paint.

I also am repainting my coupe with the same lexus white, starefire pearl.damn.lol. great white-white paint with a bright pearl, no pink shades or dull Hugh's of white like eggshell. Also the glacier frost metalic or "gfm "as I've heard the lexus guy's call it, is a pretty cool translucent gray whitish kinda color. You have to see it in person under different light conditions to see all the color changes. Anyway's good luke man post some pics so I can see another 240 sporting this white color.
