On my s14.

I have an s13sr redtop

I've had some electrical gremlins which so far I have narrowed down.

Now I can get the car to turn off, and to turn on normally.

But when I give the car gas, it's almost like it's closing the throttle from open rather than opening the throttle.

I know this doesn't make a lot of sense, so I'll post a video in a bit.

Just in case you may say it is my MAF... the car idles perfectly, sit's at about 2k (I've yet to let it "warm up.") due to a coolant leak on the back of the block, and I don't have my electric fan completely wired up.

Here are the electrical readings.

A. .125v -
B. 02j
C. 02j

?...It starts at .125?..what is 02j

Are they your TPS readings. Their usually .3-4.5v but they do vary, a bit.

iirc you're tps voltage should be at .37V closed throttle.

What are you at?

I'm going to assume it means jewels... or whatever jules.

that's the black/white wire on my maf. I'm going to take readings from the tps sensor right now.

yea it means joules but you shouldnt be getting any joules reading on a maf.

Its like a lil over 1v at idle and increases as rpms increase. But again, the numbers can vary. I know map readings need to be over 1v at idle so i think its the same for MAFs, correct me if im wrong.

I think the eccs relay is at fault here, the car starts up without it attached and is doing the same thing. I tried switching it around so the constant power goes to the mafs but it wont start.

lulz!

The fuel pump stopped priming for a couple of cranks as well. Figured my ecu patch job went bad, pulled the ecu apart and everything checks out. Ran a voltage check with the car in the on position and everything checks out.

Whats strange is I had to crank the key without the clutch depressed and magically the fuel pump primes again.

Talk about electrical gremlins. I'm afraid to take the car on a test drive under these conditions as I've been going to the gym and don't think I'll be able to push it back home lol.

Lol wow, you got corssed wires somewhere. Gl, man.
