Hoping for a definite answer here. I've searched a bunch, and even started a few threads, with inconclusive results.

I'm looking at the following part number: ARP 100-7715

These are intended for the Lexus IS300, and I've found several mentions here on this board of folks using them on S14 front hubs. I need the S14 knurl size, since my Attain hubs apparently use it. The "real" S14 studs are an old Corolla stud, p/n 100-7718, but they're not actually that long and they cost at least $100 for a set of 10 ($60 for 5 from Summit).

Question - has anyone using these studs had any problems? Since the knurl on the IS300 studs is actually a bit smaller (.005 inch - .563 hub size vs .558 stud size) I'm nervous. Yes, I know it's an extremely tiny difference. I'm wondering about installation issues, problems with the studs spinning/stripping the knurl on the stud (bad) or in the hub (worse).

Any help gratefully received. I'm going to be finishing my Z32 brake upgrade soon, and I'd like to do the longer studs as part of the package, while I've got the car apart.

Hey! Good news. I was in the same dilemma as you about using the S14 studs on Attain hubs but didn't want to risk an expensive part..

I talked to the guys over at RHDjapan awhile ago about having the Attain extended studs for sale. They only had them as an option if you buy the hubs but not for sale.

They made em available for me to order. Once they arrived I installed them to the hubs -- Perfect fit!

They are now available to us Attain hub owners! =)

I ordered the -20mm Long M12 X P1.25

I was on their site earlier today.

Did they give you some break on the price? I'm already NOT interested in the S14/Corolla ARP part, since they'e so expensive. The Attain studs would be over $150, which is even more money than the ARP studs.

Also, how long did it take you to receive them?

Ah, I see. I'll keep it in mind. Frankly I'd rather go with ARP, since I don't know the strength of the Attain studs.

HomerSimpson - how often do you have the wheels off and back on? Just trying to get a feel for it.

Anyone else running the IS300 studs? I know I saw several references in my searches.

I've been taking the wheels off/on for at least 10 time now.
