Hey guys, i have a 95 S14 KA24DE 5 speed non-abs. I've had a problem with oil leaking from the front main seal where the driveshaft yoke is. It's a slow leak but gotta top up tranny fluid every month or so. I had my mechanic look at this when i got anew clutch and he said that my yoke has little pits in it and the oil is slipping through there and the front main seal. http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u238/reeshu926/driveshaft.jpg
the rubber front main seal in the picture is usually where you will find the oil. I'm just wondering what my options are. to my understanding it is not possible to switch out the yoke, you have to switch the whole driveshaft+yoke. Obviously a new front seal will be ordered as well. Anyone have any ideas and wouldn't mind dropping by to a shop if you would like a closer view on a lift. Desperatley need some help.

That's the rear seal guy, not front. If the seal is leaking, replace it. If the yoke is damaged and allowing for a leak, replace the driveshaft. No other way to look at it.

So.. No one can replace the yoke? word.

If you replace the seal, replace it with an OEM seal. Dont buy aftermarket shit.

OEM, not that I know of. Aftermarket, of course.
