Your brute automatically gets them. Each character has different weapons/abilities to being with.

It seems now that im level 7 its way freaking harder to level up.. i have won so many matches but my stats have not gone up at all. plus there have been alot more error messages when i try to fight or log in

It becomes increasingly difficult to level the higher you go.
it's good to find a weak player, then use them to lvl every day.
I have two lvl 5 players that are particularly weak: 'Vonsohn' and 'Campesino 5000'
There is also this lvl 7 player, 'Stegosor' is good to level off of, even with lower lvl chars.
Also, "johnny rockett" (3 - 5) is almost a guaranteed win.

Note that you can still get 2 exp points beating opponents 2 lvls lower than you.
Beating an opponent less than two levels lower gets you 1 exp point only.

Thank goodness I finally got a player with a Bear (and a dog later on).
makes a huge difference.

Noted easy kills (or at least I've had good luck).
Fight these opponents for a higher likelihood of winning.
Info is current as of today 04/03/09

'006' lvl 3, guy only has knife & no pets.
'Johnny Rockett' lvl 3, guy only has knife. looses all the time. (belongs to some dude on zilvia iirc)
'Zenn' lvl 4, guy has no knife & no pets
'Vonsohn' lvl 5, guy has a knife only, & no pets (my char)
'Dullard' lvl 6, guy has weapons but somehow loses 'most' of the time. (my char)
'Stegosor' lvl 7, guy has no weapons, only 1 dog & sheild. hits like a pansy.

Anyone know of other easy kills, pls post up!

**Note again, you can fight opponents 2 lvls lower than you to still get 2 exp pts after a win.
Therefore, If im a lvl 7, I can still get 2 exp pts taking out lvl 5 opponents.
However, taking out a lvl 4 opponent will only get me 1 exp pt.

with regards to gaining exp via pupils, I have no idea how that works.
seems totally random & somewhat rare.
I have like 15 or so pupils, with 3 or so leveling up every day.
I sure don't get 1 exp points every time a pupil levels.

Leveling from level 7 to level 8 took me about a week winning 2/3 fights daily.
It's prob going to take 2 yrs at least to level to 50!
Note also that some of the higher lvl guys usually have A LOT of pupils.
There must be some trick to lvl faster.
Maybe it does take like 1000 pupils to level fast.

you only gain exp from pupils that have not had a master before. the game tracks ip adresses of account creators. so if someone already made an account and is your pupil, you wont get anything.

'Bobregas" level 6, is an easy kill.
Dude only has a dog and no weapons as of yet.

'Dullard' level 7, isn't too bad.
I win 8/10 times, using a lvl 5 or higher toon.

'Stegosor' now level 8, is still pretty easy.
Dude now has 2 dogs and no weapons.

Not sure if I can recommend 'Vonsohn' (lvl 6 or 7) anymore.
Char doesn't suck as bad as before.
Win maybe 6 or 7/10.

IMO, the best toons are the ones that suck really bad or do really well.
The ones that suck really bad are a reliable source of gaining exp.
Rest assured that unless your toon sucks even worse, you'll have a good chance of earning that 2 exp points.

Please disclose easy kills!!

Dogs become less useful as levels progress.
Also, weapons like the club become more of a liability than asset.

'Ebur' is a good char to fight with.
guy has a sheild only w/out weapons.
more or less a guaranteed win.

The 'Oreo095' seems to dodge a lot of attacks & has some weapons.
not too confident about that one, esp with my weaker toons.

You have to be sure that it's just 'Ebur', and not 'Ebur 2' or 'Ebur such & such'.
The search function on the game is kinda problematic & inconsistent.

so its now available on iphone and itouch.. i downloaded the app.. its pretty neat how you can name your dojo and also fully customize your character.
what i didnt like was i had to start from scratch.. back to level one. im stil trying to figure out everything still but if you know how to add me as a friend go for it its still the same brute name "twinchy"
