I just started a new job but heard back about one I applied for a while ago. They're offering me "internet sales manager". Apparently I take the car pics and post them on ebay.
Anybody ever work for a preowned stealership? Decent money? This is for a pretty big import lot.

dealerships have the best pay/benefits for any other shop ive worked for. easier to get "free" stuff from too.

they make good money. are you on salary? A friend of mines lost her job as a internet sales manager at nissan. she was making 55k salary and thats not including her sales commission.

still gotta be a good salesmen. you'll probably be incharge of putting cars on autotrader and cars.com and whatnot, and then people call you to setup appointments and when they come in you have to deal with em.

Sounds like a pretty easy job to me. You can probably get hookups on repairs and servicing too... I say do it.

I worked for a nissan dealership as part of my co-op for school. I loved being able to use the shop for FREE!!! Then they got pissed at me for taking too long on my SR swap.. I do miss it though!

But yeah it's a used lot not new cars. As far as I'm concerned, it sounds great... take pics, throw cars on ebay, test drives and pizza pies

Dunno about pay but I guarantee it's nowhere near that good...

So you guys think car sales chode is an alright job? I'm definitely not attached to my current one in any way... in fact I have three more weeks of training to go

Commission or Salary?

Commission, I can guaranty the "lot workers" are going to steal your sales before they even get to your office.

Don't throw away your sure thing cause this one could turn into a pipe dream.

my friend did that, he said it was good money, but he never gave me figures tho and lived at home i think *he still does, all my friends of my generation still live at home lol*, so i dunno honestly.

Ask them what the income is, and if you get commission lol. Taking pics shouldnt be hard, get some good angles that really show the car off.. ive seen alot of horrible pics of cars that where taken too close etc.
