Formula Drift returns to the Streets of Long Beach on Friday April 10th (qualifying) and Saturday April 11th (main competition). Buying your advanced tickets online will save you $5 off the door ticket price. NEW RACING FORMAT
This event will debut the new Top 32 tandem competition format for the 2009 season. The Top 32 tandem format provides double the amount of tandem competition from previous seasons, which means double the potential for close calls. The larger bracket will also match up drivers that do not normally run against each other. This new match up will produce some interesting battles.
TRACK ACTIVITIES
In addition to the all new racing format, the Long Beach event will feature a car show hosted by JTuned. As always the pits are open to the public so you can meet the teams and see the drift cars up close. Formula Drift has a huge Vendor Village that will include manufacturers such as Sparco, Brian Crower, Turbonetics, and Eibach to name a few. Plus there will be free give-aways all day long.

NEW CARS
There will be several new cars competing in this first round such as: Rhys Millen's Hyundai Genesis and Calvin Wan's Nissan Silvia (S15).
