So, I'm kind of bummed but kind of happy too. Yesterday was my birthday, so I expected to have a typical day. Everything was pretty good, but I finally got rid of something that I have been up in the air about.

I've had a fella interested in my new 180sx I was building for a while now. I guess it was somebody who is like me and likes the GOOD parts. Well, yesterday he threw me a dollar figure and I just had to take it. So, with that, my drift stuff is over. No more car for me. Bye bye S chassis.

The nice thing is, I have a good chunk of change to buy the Cube when it arrives. I've been wanting one of those for a while, and now it's a done deal.
Thanks to those who enjoyed what I did with drift cars.

well it def sucks, i know...when i sold the sil80 i fully intended on buying an fj cruiser flat out and "growing up". however, i test drove an is300 for shits and giggles, once i turned traction control off and beat the shit out of it...i knew i couldnt give it up. now i'm almost done with track ready is300 . my point, cubes not coming out for a little while, you'll get bored and eventually realize that this is more then a hobby for most of us...look forward to seeing your next purchase :)

I would understand him selling his car an buying another performance oriented car if someone offered him the right price, because if someone offered me 12-15 for my s14 I would take it and buy another one and have money in the bank, I would not just take it and buy a lunchbox with wheels.
But people are different, and some people might call this growing up, or getting old. Birthdays tend to bring these things.

I kinda agree with Eric Castro on this one, I knew a guy who was all about the 86 corolla and drifting and than when the fad died he conveniently sold it than bought a S2k, Honda Ruckus, and a fixy. Some people just want to be cool I guess, and they themselves are not so they have to be hipsters.
