Ok so i have a 1996 s14 with an s14 sr... i have blitz twin disc clutch kit on it and well the throwout bearing gave up on me. So i changed the throwout bearing (i got it from west covina nissan) along with the slave and master cylinder. So i take it out for a test drive and all and about 25 miles of driving it i feel the tranny slip around 70mph and then the clutch lost complete pressure... so i swapped out the master got it from autozone and the slave got it from west co. nissan (nismo slave) now regained pressure but clucth only has pressure about 3/4 of the way down only but it wont go into any gear at all. WHAT CAN THIS BE? any help would work the system is bled and has pressure

JDM and USDM TOB sleeves are identical, but the throwout bearings are not. Ask me how I know. I must be one of the few people out there that actually bothers checking this shit. OEM SR TOB's are more of a trumpet style face bearing. KA ones are sealed, with a mild ridge face. The trumpet style TOB is several millimeters longer overall... And is needed for proper disengagement. The typical KA TOB doesn't push down enough on the diaphragm, so you will never completely disengage the clutch. You can pick up a TOB sleeve and TOB from rhdjapan for one of their other clutch kits. Complete ripoff in price, and you can find the proper TOB cheaper, but it's tough to find.
The reason you won't hear much of a fuss about it is because only super duper JDM clutches are designed in Japan for use with Jap style TOBs. This includes the Exedy Hyper Single and up, Blitz Active and up, Orc, OS Giken... ETC.
ACT, Spec, lower level Shitxedy, (yes I fucking hate Exedy, I hope they go bankrupt and plummet into the ocean like atlantis), and other typically produced for USDM market clutches are designed around the regular KA TOB... Which just doesn't work with your clutch, or my clutch.
Keep in mind.. you may have to adjust the pedal.. But the clutch will still be awkward without the right TOB.
Option 1) Trumpet.. no, its not the KA TOB.
OS Giken Release Sleeve Bearing (http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/OS-Giken-Release-Sleeve-Bearing-8664)
Option 2) OEM Trumpet, again, not a KA TOB
Nissan Release Bearing and Sleeve Set (http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Nissan-Release-Bearing-and-Sleeve-Set-14460)
Option 3) ORC Trumpet, again, not a KA TOB
ORC Ogura Release Sleeve & Bearing Set (http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/ORC-Ogura-Release-Sleeve-Bearing-Set-24313)
Notice the larger protrusion on the bearing face.. Believe me, these TOB's come out farther than the KA TOB.
Option 4) Mazworx
Hydraulic Release Bearing Kit (http://www.mazworx.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2748)
Hydraulic release.. But its over $500...
I see a ton of guys buying these uber expensive clutchs... and they use the KA TOB.. so their clutchs wear out in 10-20k because they don't completely disengage while shifting... I laugh, then I remember I'm using a KA TOB on my hyper single.. and it stops being so funny.. :bash: If you need additional help, PM me. Btw I spent 30min writing this up, so if I don't see a thank you then I'll be really sad.
