View Full Version : Were these graphics a factory option?

The lines that sort of fade out along the bottom of the car. I seem to remember seeing this before on annother 240 somewhere, deep within the cobwebs of my mind. Has anyone seen this before on annother 240 or was it maybe done aftermarket.

The car is a '90 SE hatchback.

Not "factory", probably installed by the original dealer like pinstripes.

I see cheesy stuff like that on early '90s cars all the time.

Yeah, makes sense. Well whoever installed it did a pretty good job for it to still be on after what this car has been through.

yeah my car still has the remains of pinstriping, which i detest.

heat gun on low heat, some goo-be-gone or other adhesive remover, and a lil patience and that'll be gone and lookgin so much better. i removed my pinsripe on my car just recently as wellas the thick black striping that went all around the car.

Yeah pinstripes are the suck. Even when I removed mine on my other 240, theres still a line of less-faded paint all arround the car.

But this thing I kinda like. If possible I'll keep it. Unfortunately the other door has some damage and really should be replaced. I guess i could try repairing the door and painting arround the graphic.
