I just picked up a power fc for my red top sr20 and someone mentioned that they thought i would NEED a wideband O2 sensor for it. is this true? or does it just use the stock narrow band?
if it uses the stock O2 sensor, will the commander give me readings on how lean/rich I'm running? or will i still need to pick up a wideband for that?

Umm...Power FC doesnt give you A/F readings.
You need a wide band sensor to tune it, even then, it doesnt connect directly to it.

right, the wideband is its own separate unit, simply telling me what air fuel ratio i have, at which point I use my power fc to make corrections and adjust fuel. got ya. thanks

You will want something that logs AFR, RPM and TPS. RPM and TPS though a input. Internal logging is easier then carrying a laptop around.
