JWT S3 cams..ARE THEY WORTH THE PRICE?

I've got a gt2871 .64 setup with supporting mods and power fc management on S13 redtop. Are these cams (S3) worth the mulah? Please comment with experience please.

i think they are !! I had S3 in my FWD SE-R and it ran like a champ with a idle like a small block chevy !!! lol I currently have the C1 in my S14SR with a GT2871 .86 and it screams like a 14 yr old virgin !!!! lol I think that they are worth every penny IMO.

Nope Just got the JWT Adj Sprockets and it's GT(good to go)
If you near me Ill take you for a ride in my car and you can feel it at 14psi break 19" wheels loose like they were 16"s

I would vote absolutely. I've never had any first hand experience with the S3's, but I've run two sets of S4's and love them. I have a set of C1's I'm about to put in my new motor. Enthalpy talked me into getting the S4's because he said it keeps the powerband and torque curve nice and flat. So, I would say yes.

thanks for the help guys. i currently have hks step 1 256's in my car and i have a set of BC step 2 264's in the other room. hmmm. I just had my engine rebuilt and dont want to take the head off for a valve spring upgrade that's why i'm thinking about S3's

I just got my car running with my C1 cams and all I can say right now is they idle pretty cool. They shake the car at idle a little bit. I am still in the break-in process. Can't wait to go tune and dyno to see the difference from the BC cams.

get the C1's they are better but i would look into HKS.

Yea, I am tight on money right now from being laid off from Caterpillar and there is no way I would spend close to 600 dollars on JWT cams on my budget. I think you can make just as good power on hks or even toda cams I would consider. If I had a job and the budget, JWT cams are probably worth it.

But I got my brand new C1 cams plus new JWT valve spring for 400 dollars so I couldn't pass that ridiculous deal up.

I had the BC 264 cams and had good success and no problems. I made 380 and 300tq with the 2871r .64 and supporting mods.
