Alright guys, so I recently dropped $1700 on this thing to make it a cool daily but I just got a smokin deal on an s14 and I am tired of stressing over this.
Being that I just put out more money on this s14, I have no money to make the Lexus pass smog, I have the results from the pre-test that I did have done and it turns out that one of the numbers is just too damn high. I will scan the sheet in when I get back home tonight because from what this smog guy told me, all I need to do is loosen the distributor and he may be able to play around with it to bring this number down and get it to pass, for a fee he will play around with it- not really willing to do that.
When I bought the car I paid the fees, so you may have to pay a few bucks for it being expired 4 months now (since Dec 08).
92 Lexus ES300
The car runs great, it can hold a smooth idle for days.
The guy I bought it from said the motor blew and he swapped one in with about 70K on it. No proof but it runs good...
Its a 5-spd
Clean Title
power seats
The seats are in pretty rough shape due to the previous owner putting some spray to clean the leather and it ended up shrinking it...wow lol
Power windows
Lexani Slate wheels that retail for about $1500
1 center cap is missing
New climate control head unit in the trunk.
I really do not know much about these other than it has the drivetrain of toyota camry. Also, from what I have been hearing these things in a 5-speed are pretty rare.
So the price is $999 for a good running, clean title, rare car that needs a fucking smog lol.
Sell the wheels make your money back. lol
