how to change cluster light?

I got an s13 with HUD and the light in this cluster is very poor so i wanna know how to change it and what is the reference of the bulb that i would need to buy?

i was doing some reseaarch and it said not to get an LED very bright bc it would be too bright when driving at night, so how do i get like a nice white but that is not that bright(exposure-wise) knowing that LED's are bright to start with....

if not i was thinking about red or blue...

But anyways, main thing i wanna kno is how to change it and what kind bulb is it (194,158, etc...)?

If you get any other color other then white your gonna have real bad hot spots

yeah Part # is LI-194W

you have to search around im not really sure

The search function is really picky so you have to try differnt word combo's to get what your looking for.

if i remember correctly you only need 4

Dood, seriously? You need a guide on how to change the bulb in your cluster? Do you need a guide on how to change your oil too???

Pop the plastic trim, pop all the screws holding the cluster in, unplug the harnesses, pull out the bulb holder and swap bulbs. Its not rocket science...

Im sorry but last time i checked this is a place where u can ask stuff, ANY stuff... I dnt see any "dont ask how to do this bc its soooo easy"

Go on superbrightleds.com they have the 194s, make sure you get the 120 degrees wide angle bulb though they project better lighting
