View Full Version : Anyone near Miramar Air base wanna help me swap a built KA in the base hobby shop?

So yeah, I just about fininsh building my KA and I wanna get it swapped out during April 4th to the 12th. If anyone is willing and don't have nothing to do, I'm more than willing to hook it up with food, beer and a cookie. This would be my first swap so I would like to get some help at least for the pull out and drop in of the engines, I guess I could do the rest myself. S13 KA into an S13, so it should be rather easy. SOMEONE HOOK IT UP!!, I got no one..........(tear).

id be down to help as long as i dont have work.... i can hold and carry stuff but not knowledgable in actually wrenching...

bring the car to camp pendleton and i will help!

make sure you enter through the main gate, follow basilone all the way down.

to range 225.

i will help in full gear.

Make sure you're calling cadence while you work on the car.

Thats how I use my wrenches.....HAAAAleft, right, low right, lol. I was thinking of doing my car overthere in Camp P because you guys have the paint booth, so I would be able to paint my engine bay. It looks like I'm just going to pressure wash it and clean it in miramar instead. Too much driving back and forth, you know. When i do buy a new spray gun, I shall be painting my whole car overthere for sure.......Party at Camp P.

I think I might have one guy coming tomorrow (saturday) but not comfirmed yet. Still taking any help. I should be starting early (7:00ish with the disconnection of the wires and such. Free Morning beer, whoo hoo!!

Well I got one of my buddies to help me out last minute. I got the engine out yesterday and I cleaned out the engine bay today. I might still need help to put the new KA in. I'll be doing it Wednesday if any one wants yo help.
