I bought a car used and with work and finals i never had time to make it to the DMV. do they fine you after the "10 or 30 day" period of not putting it in your name? im not sure if the guy i bought it off of ever sent in the paper to get it out of his name.

its after 30 days of the purchase date.
my fee was 10 bucks.
just look on the bottom of the title.
it should say there

okay another thing. Im going to go buy another car today (240) buddy says its a lien sale. If its not signed to release. what do i do? he has all the papers for it.
