Ok Venus Auto sells the rb20det (210hp) for 1000+shipping and the rb25det (250hp) for 1800+shipping. Both those prices are cheaper than SR's. Theoretically it makes more sense to buy these, which are cheaper and make more power, but why isn't it popular at all? Does anyone on here have a RB engine or know of someone who does? I'm looking for FAQs or something on it for installation in 240s. There is one site that I found but its not that great. How much harder would it be than a SR to install one of these in a 97-98 240? Thanks for the input.

I believe grumpy of McKinney Motorsports has an RB25 in his 240.

I think a virus got their webserver, so their site is only about 1/3 there :(
but you could eMail the guys over there, they know 240's backwards, forwards, upsidedown, inside out, etc etc etc etc

It shouldn't be too much more difficult than an SR swap, but you have to consider replacement parts and such.:( And there aren't too many reputable RB tuners out there
