Most places I've read say that when you lower your 240 on eibach sportlines you need to get struts/camber kit and all that good stuff along with it. I know its a dif car but I'll offer this story anyway-my brother has a MR2 turbo and just put sportlines on the stock setup with 120,000 miles with hard driven struts, the car handles and rides tons better and now has an awesome fender gap. Can I do this with a 97-98 240 and see the same results with only the new springs? This is mostly for a daily driven car to get a little bit better handling and a better ride height, I'm not going to do any serious track racing or anything so super handling isn't the biggest priority right now. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

You should always upgrade struts with springs... otherwise ride quality will suffer.

You will likely need camber adjustment, but not so much that you need a pricey "camber kit" (i.e. parts that replace the front strut mounts). The rear suspension has camber adjustment built in, and the front can be made camber adjustable with offset strut bolts, sometimes called "crash bolts" because they're used to align camber on cars with bent frames. Fairly inexpensive.

It's not enough for lots of adjustment, but it should be good enough to get the camber within spec.

you could do that... but your stock shocks probably won't last long so u'll be taking a risk. and if/when they blow u'd just be paying the cost of labor twice (unless you're doing it yourself) to take apart the strut assemblies. the camber kits from eibach are about $50 or so i believe. i can't remember but they aren't terribly expensive. it would definitely help your fender gap though, i'd recommend getting KYB adjustables or something at the same time to save you trouble down the road.
