Hey guys... got my head back from Mazworx the other day
they shimmed up the springs, and replaced all the seals and preformed their CNC combustion chamber ( stock bore) . cleared out all the oil galleys overall really great work and it was affordable.
they spec'ed out my head and shimmed it up, all my parts were individually wrapped and labeled. Eric at Mazworx stayed in contact with me.
sorry for the crappy pics, couldn't wait to get this thing bolted down

I wanted to know how you shipped your head out to them? Did you build a crate or anything? Also who did you use...UPS, Fedex, freight? And how much did it cost to ship?

my bottom end was built last year, and yes the front cover was decked along with the block.
shipping was simple, 45 bucks UPS.. just wrapped a box around the head.. and then stuffed it in another box slightly larger.

on what?...
You guys are great! Expect a full write up very soon. with much better pictures. The quality of the work is way beyond anything local. the turn around time was 2 weeks (much quicker then expected) you guys had no problem explaining what I needed and why, and also gave me options so i can manage my budget.
for anyone looking to do a rebuild on a head, PLZ give Mazworx a call. They are more affordable then we all think.
If your interested
I would be happy to run a Mazworx sticker on my 1/4 and get a few pics for you.
pm?
