i've bought plenty of used widebands that have worked pretty well... i have no clue why that plug is cut though, its pretty sketchy.

i'm giving him shit because things that are important like knowing your motor's not running lean are important
it'd be like buying a used fuel pump or used injectors
don't cheap out on the important shit
that's all i'm trying to say

It's like a $10 VW connector. I only have the Part number for the oval connector not the square though. I wish I could help more.

I have to disagree, some used parts are just as good as new parts just depends on the condition and how they were treated.

i apologize for coming across bluntly design. more power to you and i hope you get the information you need to get the guage working correctly
there's the illusion that you got a good deal because you paid less, but that's the illusion, if the sub standard used parts that you got for a deal end up causing you to blow up your motor. Those "deals" end up costing more in the long run when that happens, and unfortunately it happens a lot, to a lot of people.
i apologize that you in particular had to be the recipient of the truth, i hope u can figure it out with other's help and i wish u the best. my intention wasn't to come across rudely as stated previously, and you can disagree with me about buying used parts.
there are certain used parts that will work fine, and it definately helps when you know where it's coming from. in this circumstance i doubt you knew the kid personally who sold you that or you wouldn't have bought it with the harness cut. you thought ahead and got a new bosch sensor which was the right thing to do and i give you praise for that.
if you look passed the candy coating and see what i'm really saying to you, you'll get my point.
again, best of luck
