Here is the dilemma guys, hope someone can help me out. I have a S13 that i just got done doing a manual swap into, It was originally a KAE that had a spun bearing and auto transmission, so i swapped out the spun motor for another working KAE with manual transmission and got everything put together. After putting everything together no gauge cluster lights come on when key is turned and the fuel pump doesnt come on. The car turns over when key is turned just no fuel. I know the fuel pump works and the fuel pump fuse is good. I just dont know what i am looking over. I am sure it is something electrical. Hope you guys can help me out on this one so i can get this thing running. Thanks

Check all your wiring.
Check main fuse in the fusebox [the biggest fuse]
Check your ecu.
Check the fuel pump fuse.

I read that there is also a fuel pump relay so I would imagine that could be a possibility too... wouldnt explain nothing in the dash coming on though...

the thing that is making me wonder is that before i switched the motors the car started fine other than the horrible rod knock.

Check that your F9 brown plug on the engine harness is plugged into its counterpart on the chassis harness correctly. It is the 8-pin plug with the black/pink wire.

If its not that then its either a fuse (if it is you are a dumbass for even asking us), relay is bad, or ecu is bad..

Where is the F9 brown plug located? In the engine compartment or under dash??? I checked the relays and those are fine and all the fuses are good, so i am thinking I missed something when i was plugging in all the harnesses.

If that don't work. Find what type of ECU you have below. Check with a voltage tester if your fuel pump is getting power, and is grounded. That's my two cents.
