So the inner plate is held in by a bunch of screws. What if the plate gets worn down to the screws, you wouldn't be able to take out the inner plate anymore. Has this ever happened to anyone? Does anyone have any stories on how your fidanza flywheel looks after 60k of driving?

I drove on it about 10K... no problems.... There is a lot of material there. You gotta change the friction surface everytime you change clutches... that is what its there for.... Don't stress about it...

^^what he said^^ WHen you change clutches just keep checking the thickness. Mine was thick enough that i could re-surface it and not buy the new friction surface.

I was actually changing my injectors out a little bit ago and the damn screws were easily stripping, wouldn't the screws inside the pressure plate do the same when you try to take it out? And you can't get vise-grips in there to get em out

You were using the wrong screw driver to take the injector bolts out.
Have you bought a fidanza flywheel? If so, It comes with a sheet of information. They are not idiot making flywheels and have user friendly information on there for ya
