I'm in the process of finishing my s13 sr20 swap into an s14 (96). I finished the wiring using a dvd from drifting.com.
The problem is, that it won't start! I checked the coilpacks, and it has spark. Gas is being pumped right. Injectors have power. Everything seems to be fine, but it won't start. The engine turns over though.
I was thinking that maybe the ecu relay was connected wrong? Because the ecu has one pin that says eccs relay, but my relay is not connected to it. Is one of the relay wires supposed to go directly to that pin??
I've read lots of info on this, and watched the dvd over and over, but just can't find it. Any help is appreciated.
EDIT --- Got the engine to turn on with starter fluid. So the problem now is the injectors are getting wrong signal? I know the fuel pump is working. I would just like to know how the wiring for the injectors go.
Each injector has 2 wires, ( green w/black, white w/black, yellow w/black, blue w/black), and thick black w/ red. Do the colored wires with black stripe go directly to the ecu? are they ground or power?
I'm pretty sure the thick black with red is power (correct me if i'm wrong) and it receives its power from the dash plug.......
EDIT --- Found out that the colored wires receive ground from the ecu, but mine are receiving power instead...
EDIT---- Problem solved. Relay was bad. Thanks for all the advice zilvians :goyou:
