Okay, so I bought a 17/16 z32 brake booster for my full 300zx brake swap and it does not fit. Has anyone else had this problem? I noticed that the studs that go through the firewall on the z32 (M215T) are shorter than the stock non abs s13 brake booster (M23) in general. I can get only one side to bolt up, and the other two can never get enough thread through to the other side to fit a nut on it no matter how much and mess with it. Solutions, suggestions?

Thanks

Doesn't sound like the right MC. I've never seen one that didn't slide right on just as the original one did.

Hmm, like I said, it is a M215T unless someone switched the stickers on me. It does line up with the bolt holes on the firewall, it just has shorter studs than the stock s13 unit (M23), is it possible to take the studs out of the s13 unit in any way?

Studs don't come out, they're welded on.

i think he's trying to use the actual z32 brake booster and not just the master cylinder?

Are you sure there is nothing stuck in the way?

If not, then you can consider cutting off the stock studs and weld on longer ones.

Yeah I meant the brake booster, not the master cylinder, the studs for it that go through the firewall are smaller than the stock 240sx ones, has anyone actually got it bolted up before? I will get pics later today.
